Yiling is a junior student double majoring in Social Science (Urban Studies track) and Business and Finance at New York University Shanghai. Her interest for both academic research and social impact lies at the intersection of urban development, public policy, and public health, and she is keen on understanding the synergy and interaction among the physical, sociological, and political layers of a sustainable urban complex. Yiling is a “Health Futures” Fellow at Access Health Shanghai, a global public health think tank, and her case analyses are excerpted in the Rockefeller report “Tackling COVID-19 Pandemic Through Integrating Digital Technology and Public Health: Linking Experiences in China to the World”. During her study at NYU DC as a “Global Leadership Scholar”, she interned at the Kluge Center at Library of Congress and the State Legislative Leaders Foundation for smart city research and the US-China state-provincial exchange programs respectively. Yiling is also a delegate of IMUSE 2020 and the 2020 Fudan University BRICS Summer Program.
