Sharon is an upcoming final year student at London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE), majoring in International History and French language. Her primary research interest lies in the medicine, religion, and frontier regions of late Qing China. Aspiring to enhance her understanding on the East Asian, she is keen on to hear more insights from her peers at the Intercollegiate US-China Journal (IUCJ). Previously, Sharon has been actively engaging in researches and organizing events relevant to China. At her home university, she is a research assistant for Dr. Ronald Po on his project of Chinese maritime connection with the West. Besides, she initiated a panel discussion on the current disease-related racism and invited speakers from Harvard, HKU, Oxford to address the topic. At UCBRC, she hoped to contribute her part to the Sino-US relationship and promote mutual understandings between people from both countries.
