Nicola is from Arlington, Virginia, and a junior at Bryn Mawr College. She is majoring in East Asian Studies and Psychology with a minor in Chinese. Over several summers, Nicola has had the opportunity to study Chinese in Kunming, Qingdao and Harbin. In addition, she also taught English to Chinese elementary students in Kunming and continues to teach them remotely. She is interested in educational policy and EdTech and using technology to help create effective learning and communications platforms in the US and China. Nicola is really excited to be joining the UCBRC and to further connect with students who share an interest in US-Chinese relations. As an American student studying China, Nicola looks forward to contributing to the conversation about how to improve the relationship between the two countries.

Nicola来自弗吉尼亚的阿灵顿，目前在布林莫尔学院读大三，主修专业为东亚研究与心理学，辅修中文。过去的几个暑假时，她曾在昆明、青岛，以及哈尔滨学习中文，并曾在昆明教过小学生英语，目前也继续远程教学。她对于教育政策以及科技和教育的结合有着很深的兴趣，尤其是如何利用科技去创造可以连接中美双方的有效学习与交流的平台。Nicola对于加入UCBRC感到非常激动并希望可以更进一步连接起对中美关系感兴趣的学生们。作为在中国学习的美国学生，Nicola希望可以加入如何改善中美关系的对话。
